Deerwood Real Estate

Deerwood Country Club, located on Jacksonville's Southside, was one of the first all inclusive clubs in Florida.  Since it's opening in 1960 the gated Jacksonville neighborhood has gone through many changes and in fact a few new homes are still available on the 900 acre parcel. There are two entrances to the community one on Southside Blvd and the other on Baymeadows. The golf course was home to the TPC for seven years and is still a local favorite. Most of the 1000 or so homes in Deerwood were constructed in the 1970's but there are multiple divisions of the neighborhood with newer homes and estate sized parcels.
