Julington Creek Plantation boasts it's own super markets, multiple elementary schools, 18 hole golf course (The Champions Club) and much more. The majority of the community pays a CDD fee as well as an HOA fee but are able to enjoy amazing amenities that include a 16,000 Sqft club house, a staffed fitness center, heated kiddie pool, a huge pool with multiple water slides, a eight lane junior Olympic size swimming pool, skateboard park, basketball courts and eight tennis courts. That's just in the primary recreation center, there is also a secondary rec center with it's own swimming pools, basketball courts and more.

Because of the unique setup of HOA and CDD the amenities of Julington Creek Plantation are nearly unparalleled. ( A small section of Julington Creek Plantation is actually not a member of the CDD meaning they don't pay the annual fee and they don't have membership to the larger amenities, call us for clarification on how the fees work in Julington Creek Plantation.)
The area is hugely popular for families with children as many of the A rated schools are within walking or biking distance of the homes. St. Johns County has the number one ranked school system in the state of Florida. Drive time to downtown Jacksonville is 30-45 minutes depending on the traffic and 30-45 minutes to the commercial hub of JTB and I95. There are not any big box stores extremely close to Julington Creek Plantation but the large hardware stores and shopping complexes are within 15 minutes.

The neighborhood is extremely close to the Julington Creek Marina for those wanting to spend their weekends on their boats. It is also less than a thirty minute drive to the beaches of Ponte Vedra and Historic Downtown St. Augustine. Also for recreation there are over seven miles of jogging trails within the community.
The majority of the homes in were built within a ten year span from 1994-2004. In 2013 over 250 homes were bought and sold in Julington Creek Plantation with about ten percent of those homes were bank owned or foreclosures while about fifteen percent were short sales. In 2015 225 homes in Julington Creek Plantation changed hands at an average sales price of $287,000
