Interesting piece of information was released from the the Federal Financial Institutions Examination Council (the FFIE?) Interesting name if nothing else.
That Suntrust Mortgage approves 89% of the applications for new mortgages, compare that to only 79% at Wells Fargo and 75.5% at Bank of America and a wopping 33.6% rejection rate for Chase.

But the moral of the story as a home buyer,
if BOFA, Wells of JP says no you might want to call Suntrust.
