Happy Birthday to our great city, Jacksonville turns 201 years young today. When the "city" was founded there were just about a dozen residents within the city limits. Duval has come a long way over the past two centuries. With just over a million beautiful souls calling her home today. As the city continues to expand, new homes are being built everyday. There are 24 foreclosed properties (A few HUD properties as well) on the market right now, you can see all of them here.
News:
Speaking yet again of new homes, Lennar announced yesterday that they have raised their full year forecast for home deliveries. Builders are rightly taking advantage of the lack of resale inventory.
Mortgage News:
Interest rates dropped slightly lower after hitting 7% down to 6.7 from 6.8 last week. Applications are up this week 8%
